October 27, 2027 – The UT/AZ ATV Club responded to a request from the US Forest Service office in Fredonia, AZ to assist with a reforestation project on a prior burn area by planting pine tree seedlings on the North Kaibab Nat’l Forest. Several members of the Club met up with USFS representative Lyn Head at Jacob Lake Inn and proceeded to the planting zone. The Club members spent roughly 4.5 hours digging into the less than soft soil, meaning rocky as heck, and plugging in the youngster pines. At the end of the day just under 500 trees were planted, and everyone who participated felt every last one in their back and knees. The Club is honored to be asked to help with this project.
